IN WHICH DIRECTION AM I GOING

As I thought about my blog and its content, I decided to take a new direction. In my head, I’m talking to myself saying “which direction are you going?”, mostly because I’m passionate about many things and people.

This year has been filled with trying moments, not just moments but months. My mental health was pushed to its limits and I discovered I need to welcome the new version of myself. Not only welcome but accept this new me. So the new me was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome last spring. I sprained my knee working as an aid in a residence on January 19, 2021, and CRPS decided to appear

This syndrome has changed my life in many ways. I feel I need to be vocal about it and share my experience. It has brought me to my knees in pain. I questioned my sanity taking medication that brought me into a tailspin. Living with chronic pain brought me into a depression.

I Will Share The Love

You can not understand what you have not lived, and this makes it a lonely place. Without getting too much into the syndrome, I’ll write another post on CRPS because it needs a post to itself. I know many people suffering from this would love to be able to explain it to their loved ones. But you just can’t find the words, so I will help them. I will just say this, you feel like you are losing your mind. You scream and cry from the pain. It is an awful thing to live with.

A Voice Of Hope

I have been given a gift to communicate and write. Not that I think I’m a great writer, haha. I have many things I want to share. Accepting my truth is quite a journey and loving my truth goes even deeper. I want to make a difference here on this beautiful planet of ours and help someone. If my writing helps just one person, I will be so happy. A job well done I say!

Taking A New Direction

So that is why I feel the need to add more to my blog. I want to talk and write about what matters to me. I want to share my experiences which have brought me strength and courage. And to dig deep inside myself to give you the honest and best version of “me”. On my journey, throughout this lifetime my goal has been to be a better person each day. To be a kind and giving person and to love those around me. Whether I know you or not, we all deserve to be loved.

My mission is to talk about mental health, chronic pain, and CRPS. Addiction, depression, self-love, self-esteem, self-care, healthy eating, meditation, mindfulness, and yoga. And breathing, as I take a deep breath. These are all close to my heart, I live them and have experienced them. I will not hide in shame because I have been in a depression and have taken medication.

I will not hang my head because I am an alcoholic. Nor will I lower my self-esteem because I have a disability right now. Instead, I rise and I keep finding my joy. I continue to grow and heal and become the best version of myself.

Ending The Stigma

One person at a time we may just end the stigma associated with mental health. We try to not be bothered by those who judge not always with success. It is fear that makes people judge, ignorance, we need to be grateful that we have a compassionate heart.

I want everyone to love themselves, to see the beauty they possess. To realize we all have a purpose here, on this beautiful planet we call home. You can find your purpose, I will help you. With the help of my mentors and wise spiritual beings, I have changed and grown into the woman I am today.

You see I was and am inspired to share my story and experiences. I surround myself with people that are positive, happy, joy-filled, and spiritual.

Having an open mind and heart to feel all the gifts that have been given to me brings gratitude. I have a kind, loving, and giving heart and it would be selfish of me to keep it to myself. My mentors would frown upon it.

Be Love

The Sun Always Shines After The Rain

This is going to be an amazing journey. I am excited to see it unfold. I like to think of each day as a gift that we get to unwrap every morning. You can open it quickly or take your time. Open your eyes real big and take a look. You have never seen this one before.

Thank you for being here with me. Feel free to leave comments. Let me know what topics you would like to hear about. I will be happy to research and bring them to you.
